UPDATE 2nd of March, The Queensland Glass team have started to install the Level 5 Atrium Glazing which consists of 110 lineal metres of glazing including 54 flat glass panels and 41 curved glass panels on our latest project with BESIX Watpac

The glass makeup is 13.52mm Flat and 14.28mm Curved, Toughened, Heat Soaked, and Laminated Glass panels.

With a tight construction program and very long lead times for the project specific flat and curved glass panel manufacture, the Queensland Glass solution was to predetermine all glass sizes.  To minimise risk predetermining, accurate heights, radius, and girth measurements for all 41 curved glass panels was crucial for the purpose of the glass manufacture and the success of the solution offered.

Working meticulously with the BESIX Watpac site team, we were able to install all straight and curved glazing channels to the concrete floor and complex structural steel roof structure in preparation for the glass delivery in a safe manner with minimum fuss.
