David Borden – Operations Manager
David started with Queensland Glass in 2011 as Business Development Manager, but now works as the operations manager.
David has over 20 years experience in the building industry commencing as an apprentice carpenter in Victoria covering many aspects in the commercial building field, from interior fit-outs through to construction on medium rise buildings.
David completed his carpentry and joinery apprenticeship and worked as a tradesman for several years before moving in to a sales role within the building industry.
From 1995 onwards David has undertaken many roles, working with the building industry in Qld.
David has a Certificate IV in Business Sales and Bullet Proof Management training.
Peter Collishaw – Contracts and QA/EHS Manager
Peter joined Queensland Glass in late 2008 and has extensive experience in the external commercial market. Peter began his apprenticeship with a major glass and aluminium business and continued working there as a fully qualified glazier and progressed through project management to become the Commercial Branch Manager after 22 years of service.
Peter spent 8 years at another high profile glazing business, 3 years as the External Commercial Manager gaining experience in contracts, contracting and other business related areas.
Peter has an Advanced Diploma in Management, Advanced Diploma in WHS, a Trade Certificate in Glass & Glazing, Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and is a Justice of the Peace (C-Dec), Bullet Proof Management training, Cert IV in Building and holds a BSA Supervisor Licence.
Roger Wilson - Design Manager
Roger joined Queensland Glass in 2014 in the role of Product Manager to further develop our ever expanding need for the supply of aluminium sunshading, screens, louvres, and facade products. Roger has been in the commercial aluminium and glass industry in S.E. Queensland for the past 26 years in Project and Operations Management roles. Through this period Roger has developed a thorough knowledge of product design and installation combined with the capabilities to meet the needs required by clients to forward their ideas to fruition.
Jennifer Ruig – Administration Manager / Contracts Administrator
Jennifer Joined Queensland Glass in September 2017. Jennifer has 10 years’ experience in Contracts Administration, 5 years as a Service Co-ordinator and a further 5 years in Project Management. Jennifer assists the Queensland Glass Project Managers in forecasting, financial reporting, monthly invoicing, certification of certificates and warranty and maintenance manuals. Jennifer is responsible for the day to day operation of the office administration. Jennifer has completed a Diploma of Project Management and a Diploma of Business Management.
David Mills – Production Manager
David has held the role of Production Manager since 2004. Prior to this her was working for Queensland Glass as a glazier/fitter. Dave has overseen the expansion from a small fabrication facility to one that now occupies a 6000m2 facility capable of turning out $1M product per month. David’s attention to detail and problematic approach to managing the factory produces a consistent, quality product.
David has a Certificate III in Glass and Glazing and holds a BSA Supervisor Licence, Bullet Proof Management training. He also has a Certificate IV in OHS and Certificate IV in Project Management.
Daniel Wigan - Commercial Manager
Daniel commenced employment with Queensland Glass in 2004 and has 15 years experience in finance and management. His role is to provide financial, legal and administrative support. Daniel is highly qualified with a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of International Business, and a Masters of Business Administration.
Mark Kinross - Business Development Manager
Mark started with Queensland Glass in 2017 as Business Development Manager. Mark’s primary focus is to align the objectives of Queensland Glass with that of our customers and to strengthen existing relationships with our customer base. Mark began working with the Queensland Construction Industry in 2006 as a Technical Sales Consultant. In 2008 Mark advanced to a Sales / Business Development role and has experienced great success with involvement in low and high rise residential, commercial, medical, education and infrastructure projects. Mark’s Sales career began over 30 years ago when he was given the opportunity to join a successful industrial supply company as their Technical Sales Representative covering North West Victoria. Since then Mark has had several different technical sales roles in Victoria and South Australia. In 2003 Mark moved with his young family to Queensland where he enjoyed success in owning his own business for 4 years before becoming involved in the Construction Industry. Mark has a Diploma in Business Management and Macquarie University of Management training as well as completing various other in-house Sales and Management training courses.
