Founded in 1992 with over 70 direct employees we are one of Australia’ premier suppliers to the construction industry. Our enviable portfolio encompasses a wide range of large scale external projects, Internal office fit outs and bespoke engineered solutions.
Due to internal progression, we are now looking for a professional and experienced estimator to join the team at our purpose built facility in Lytton.
The role
Reporting to the estimating manager, your key responsibilities will be the preparation of accurate and competitive tender submissions on projects up to $10 million.
Skills and experience.
A minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role (external envelope preferred).
You should be able to demonstrate a solid track record of tendering and winning large scale external façade projects.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to sales.
Ability to understand and interpret architectural drawings.
Understanding of project engineering requirements (Acoustic, thermal, structural etc).
Knowledge of architectural aluminium products (Alspec, Capral, Schuco etc) and Australian standards.
Good working knowledge of V6 or Logikal software
Proficient in the use of Microsoft office.
Display good time management with ability to work autonomously.
