After having completed the refurbishment of Eagle Street Pier. Powe Architects set about creating a new wine bar space for the owner of Il Centro. The Mr & Mrs G bar stands on the edge of the pier overlooking the river and takes much of its form from ques in the existing art deco inspired pier buildings while also making use of Optilight high performance laminated glass, that offers optimum light transmission, reduced solar heat gain/loss and minimum reflectance while maintaining the natural toning of the glass.
